hey all!!
SB has been really busy with summer stuff like work, grad parties, work, cars, work, girls...i mean hi, work, and jammin...so sorry if we have neglected to update this thing
Bass tryouts will be held soon so i will keep you posted...we just ened to figure out a day that we can set up a try out thing at pats house...we have a couple people willing to try out which is fantastic...if those people could please prepare "Longview" by Green Day and "When I Come Around" by Green Day, then those would be appropriate songs for us to judge you on...keep an eye out for this thing to be updated cuz we will be letting you know when try outs are very soon
we are in the process of 3 new songs...this summer is getting to be very inspiring with the things that are oging on in our lives...late care all!!

A new start for this summer
we have some amazing songs that we just finished and we are looking forward to playing a bunch of graduations that we are already booked for
things that SB will accomplish this summer
1) Find a punk rock bass player
2) Write a ton of new stuff (already beggining to accomplish that)
3) Make a music video lol
4) Road trip
5) 4th Of July Concert at Pats house...we will keep u all posted...cuz its oging to happen
6) Go to S.A.W.
7) Summer lovin... ;-)

Well, Saluting Bob has come back from another successful gig.
The Bishop Foley Battle of the Bands had an awesome turn out that resulted in an awesome turn-out of about 160 people total. Thanks to our awesome fans and groupies, Saluting Bob snatched a second place in the battle; begetting the band an easy $100.
We will soon be posting videos of both the Coffee House and the Battle of the Bands gigs as soon as Pat can stop being lazy...or pass his finals so that he can be a senior next year. Whichever.
Again, thanks to all those who came out to see us and the other bands, we really appreciated seeing the support of our band.

WOW!!!
The coffee house last night went incredibly well we thought...we were really happy to see so many people participate in the open mic...you all did a great job!!
anyways i think we did really good!! we were really proud of ourselves and the feeling that we got when everyone cheered after every song was so amazing...we lived our dream and we wanna thank everyone who came and supported us!!!
the dancing, singing along, screaming, and crowd surfing is what kept us rockin all night long!!! hope to see all of you at our next concert!!
we are thinking about setting up a summer concert at St. Marys again so i will keep you all posted
once again, thanks for all your support, we love our fans!!!

so after youth group me john and some fellwo smygers went to taco bell...and we saw concerned fan and her friend...it was really funny how they were trying to ignore us but from the second we ewalked in we knew who they were...gotcha girls! lol anyways that was john and i's highlight of the day

alright...its been a while since anyone has updated this thing so ive taken the liberty to do so
last tuesday we had an outstanding practice
We have completed two new songs and perfected our cover song "Waiting" by Green Day
it was a great practice and Dom has been a great addition to the band
were on a roll of pourin in the new material and i hope to get some MP3's up on the site really soon

As you saw on the homepage...there has been a new addition to Saluting Bob
His name is Dom Terenzi and he is an insane guitar player with great new ideas for the band
DONT WORRY JOHN ISNT GOING ANYWHERE!!! john will be backing up Dom in our songs,Anthony will, for the most part be dropping guitar and stickin with just the singing
John and Anthony have known Dom since 7th grade when he came into Holy Family and have been pretty good friends for a while....when pat and dom met they immediatly became friends for thier interests in music...so its a great addition to the band and you will be hearing some MP3's from us very soon...i will keep you posted...leave a comment!

well sorry for not updatuing this a lot but heres whats goin on
John is currently out of town and will be coming home tomorrow
Pat and Anthony have been jamming regulaly and working on some sweet ideas for our next Punk song called American Idiot...i mean "totally unknown"
were kinda takin it easy for now...but as soon as monday comes around (tomorrow) we will be having ull out practices everyday and by the end of the week we will have a few (possibly) downloadable MP3's of saluting bob originals

Today it has come to my attention by way of Anthony that in total, Saluting Bob has 19 lyrical songs written. It has also come to my attention that we have 4 completed songs; one of which is just about perfect. Plan on seeing these songs debut at the SMYG Coffeehouse on Wednesday, May 18th.
